Line Excitement

Most of my blog posts have been fairly phsychological as of late. I thought it might be good to mix it up a bit.

As I've been working away on my clothing line over the past few months, I've been learning its a process. Sometimes the dress itselt is not the longest haul, either. I now need to think about my muses, photographers, makeup artists, locations, and how the dress photographs at its best. All in all, I love the experience. I think I've always known of my love for coordination, so it feels good, and relaxing to have a firm grasp on my projects as they come alive.

November is special, because this is the first month I will be working with models and muses, who I have selectively chosen, and made my pieces around/ in thoughts of. Minus the piece that was shot last month by Lichon Photography, featuring Madison in the Madison ;) and makeup by Toby Weisenberg. It was so fabulous to be able to stand back and envision what angles and poses work best, where. It was also amazing to have such a large team participating and working together on such a fun level. There are so many angles and details that can be forgotten in the midst of the excitement and activity, so to be able to stand back and simply pay attention to all the little things I want to be sure are being captured, is fabulous. I am thrilled for the opportunity to experience this type of team collaboration more, as my line expands, and as I am approached by more and more creative individuals that want to be a part of this master project.

I am considering beginning a "behind the scenes segment" too!
