Technical Difficulties

Where to begin!
I was getting all set up to write the week before last, when technical difficulties disrupted my plans.
I had the dogs mellowed and sleepy close by, the Zen music playing, the mood was right.
Very similar to today...., Lovely.
After a few minutes of confusion and not knowing,
I realized that the fresh batch of updates I downloaded the night before must have somehow changed my mouse and keyboard function settings.....
I prefer a keyboard over a screenboard 100%.
I can't type the same way I was trained to at that angle, or see the screen without kinking my neck.
I did a soft reset but I don't consider myself the most technical so beyond research and trying a few different approaches from there, I was perplexed on how to make my keyboard and mouse accessible again.
I called the geek squad,
somewhat hopeful they may be able to explain to me the fix process through the phone...
I knew he knew what I was talking about.
These guys deal with so many vast at diverse technical issues. I'm fairly sure in their work this would have been a quick fix.
regardless, this was not the case.
He really wanted me to bring it in so he could take a look at it.
I had the dogs and ongoings here, I didn't have the time to physically take it in.
Time has past now, at least an hour at this point.
I took some time to think about the people in my life that I know are very gifted when it comes to using and understanding technology.
I sent Mike a note about it.
He's very technologically inclined, it appears very natural for him.
After that I put my writing tools away for the day..
I had allocated way more time to trying to fix the issue myself than I would have hoped.
I moved on to other tasks and things.
Today has been the first day I have come back to attempt again to resolve any unresolved technical issues and hopefully write..
I was very pleasantly surprised to open my computer with regular function and access to the mouse and keyboard once again.
Thank you Mike! (I'm not sure if he reads this.) I've already sent him a thank you note separately.
I'm so relieved!
I've missed writing here!
Also I am really grateful to have such wonderful and gifted people in my life.
Also yes!, if you saw me say it.
I was trained to type.....In elementary.
but also we had this cool PC Timon & Pumbaa typing game at the house that I absolutely loved. I remember working on my typing at home through that game and others, often.
I went through a temp agency as a way to find work options in FSJ and they tested me on my typing.
I remember it was a good score., I was suprised by how impressed they were by my typing. I guess I never really realized that it is a skill to be able to type quickly and fluidly without flaw or ongoing mistakes.
I think all my writing here has helped me improve on that further.
I'm excited to get back on track with the months writings and hopefully do some bonus website editing now that things are running nice and smoothly on this device again!
Before I finish this post:
I was doing some reflecting on stats and I noticed that I do seem to have a collection of people flowing here to read my writings...?!
I'm curious about you! What brings you here?
Do we know each other?
Are you an artist?
Photographer?
Friend?
I encourage you to reach out and say hey, I'd love to know more about you.
Here's a couple photos of some of last months art.
Doing them all in a single afternoon was a good time!
Much fun!
