January Ongoings & Ponderings

Each morning (over the past few days), I've been listening to Jordan Peterson.

It's been really interesting.

He is so philosophical.

His reflections fill my mind with ponderings and reflections of my own.

I enjoy it in the morning,

I find the insights very motivating and inspiring.

This past week we welcomed a new member to the family and home.

His name is Jax and he is 5 months old.

Partial akita, Partial huskador.

100% adorable.

He's 5 months old.

So big, but such a puppy.

I love his presence here.

He's a very cuddly and sweet addition.

All November and December was filled with wonderful skate days.

It felt amazing to get out and fill the winter air.

It's special to enjoy that with the kids.

Jamie started skating with us this year as well.

His doing that has made the outing even more special and fun.

Skating has seen a slight pause these past few weeks of January, as we are training Jax and giving him time to get comfortable in his new life here.

Winter has felt significantly shortly with skating as an extra hobby to enjoy through the season and possibly year round!

I am so grateful for the opportunity to skate again. It's been so good for me.

Whilst training Jax, I've spent some extra time doing plant care.

The plants love the light in this space so much.

I love watching them grow!

I've been selling cuttings directly as well as letting them grow out and arranging them in their own pots as well.

Nature and plants have always been therapeutic to me.

I think its wonderful to be able to see the plants growing & thriving inside in the midst of winter when the ground outside is covered in snow as far as the eye can see.

Plants are wise and I reflect on the lessons they teach me often.
