Mays end; updates

May came and went in the blink of in eye, as I seem to recall it often does.

I had hoped I'd have a chance to do a wrap up post or two on the 31st, before the months end.

Yet again my Lenovo stumped me by locking the keyboard and mouse functions.

Still unsure of how to fix this myself, I decided to go out and get myself an external keyboard. I know for a fact my USB ports work great.

I checked the technology bin here at the house just to confirm that we didn't have any spares lying around.

We don't.

We don't have a lot of extra technology around here. or technology in general.

It's definitely something I've personally grown away from over the years.

I love that we're tech"light" here.

I find so many online procedures to be so extra.

Comparatively to computers in the 90's... they've changed so much.

I think the next time I need to replace my computer I will attempt to downgrade instead of upgrade.

I could see myself really enjoying and understanding the simplicity and ease of functions on an older system.

I completed grades 5-11 of my education through an online system.

I'd think I'd have

Based on my furniture finding endeavors I have realized I see and understand much more value in the older items. Compared to the new there is no comparison.

The quality of a handmade rocking chair, combined with original detailed finishing's cannot be compared to what comes from IKEA, bulk produced.

Yet, as a seller, I have realized that every customer has their own needs and preferences.

Speaking of furniture,

These warmer summer days have been ideal for furniture finding and sourcing out.

So anyways. on with my story.

Off to value village I went to find a keyboard.

It's a huge store, with so much to look at. It's a very captivating and large space, as the location I am referring to in particular was a Safeway before it became Value Village just over a year ago now.

I found one!

I also had the time to do a slow, casual walk through the store and let my eye gaze upon the wide variety of items others have given away.

I often see items and clothes that are broken, ripped and stained. It's hard for me to understand how they charge such a sum for an item in such dire condition.

However, often equally true, I find beautiful, interesting items and pieces at great price points.

I found another hourglass to ad to my ever growing collection.

I have four now. I love them.

Time has always been of such fascination to me.

It was the afternoon already when I went to the store, so once I got home and put things away, I shifted to other tasks.

So there you have it, again.

And hopefully this will be the last post on the subject of technical difficulties for a while.

To my delight, the keyboard I picked up works just great.

Here are some photos I've captured of spring/early summer.
