Embracing Change

This week has been amazing and full of tons of realizations. Michael was offered an incredible engineering job in Calgary for a 12 month interval, and he has accepted! I am beyond excited to venture with my best friend to a province I have never done more than travel through!
I am learning everyday that there are nothing but positive side effects that come from grabbing all changes life hands us, and running with them! I used to try to fight change, painfully learning I can't do that. Change is bigger than me. It is only when I learn to embrace it that I can understand the change for what it is. This change in particular is awesome. I can feel it. I'm excited to be part of something I do not yet have an understanding of. I'm excited to aquire an understanding. More importantly though, I'm excited to bring my creative with me to a brand new place and see how far it spreads. I'm excited to meet all the creative beings of calgary. I'm excited to thrive as an artist and reach out to more artistic souls in the area. I've loved building a networking of people that share my creative incentive. I believe they are everywhere. Some of them more open to express it than others. I'm excited to meet them all.
It is important though for me to let you all know how much I have enjoyed our creative time together (Creative beings of the Okanagan). This is a one year interval, which will be the perfect amount of time for all my creative friends and I to really thrive and continue to be creative apart for a short amount of time, and then explode with ideas and incentive upon my return! I will not forget all the brilliant souls that made my time here amazing. I know that my time away will fuel me for my return here. I have never been in a place where I have experienced such amazing levels of creative flow between myself and my collaborative friends. This bond will exist for an infinite amount of time. The clock cannot break it.
Also know that there is no sadness in this departure. As much as I will miss all my dear friends that I have formed amazing bonds with, I will be back. When you think of me, think of all the beautiful times we shared, and all the even more fabulous times that are coming. Sometimes it is change that causes us to see what we wouldn't otherwise see right in front of our faces. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to gain more perspective. Life is good! Mad love from me! <3 <3 <3
