I cannot explain how perfect the arrival of this vacation has been for Michael and I. It will be our first official vacation together. Already rubbing up against the half way point of February, I am happy to be able to have a break in what would otherwise seem like a pauseless year. Theres no question that the months are feeling shorter. An infinite project list can make you feel pressed for time.

If nothing else, the warm sun should be enough to refuel me. It feels like its been so long. Its not that the sun doesn't shine in Calgary.. Its just crazy crazy cold.

Everything I own that is suitable for warm weather was been packed into a bag, set aside, ready to go. It's so nice to have some of that spare time I've been dreaming of. Clarity is coming to me, as I think more deeply about the shoots that will be filling out the month of February upon my return. Details come to mind everyday, and concepts and ideas turn more specific. It will be nice to have time to put all the details where they belong. The shoots hold great value because of the creative input and team standing behind them.

The plane ride from Calgary to Pheonix was 2.5 hours. Michael and I waited for the lines to disolve before boarding the plane. Our seats were seperated, as Michaels ticket had been bouoght first, and mine later on. There was an extra seat beside me at the back of the plane so I asked one of the flight attendants if Michael could have it. He was bulging from his seat beside another couple and retreated back to the very last seat on the plane beside me, which fabulously had more leg room than his original seat. Immigration was time consuming, but not problematic. Besides personal panic from never cutting it so close to flight time, all was okay. It was the first time in my travels that I wasn't suspected as a criminal, and pulled in for excessive searching. To my surprise, I wasn't even frisked. We checked the weather board for the week before we left, and it forcasted nothing but sunny skies.

About Modeling:

Yesterday I stumbled upon a well-made list of fashion/art magazines created by a model on MM (model mayhem) I believe. The list had lots of links leading directly to submission pages of magaines. As I have made it clear that this year my focus is on client work, I am wanting to publish any TFP projects I decide to parttake in :) There are an infinite amount of options available for submission work. There are pages, and sights, and magazines, just waiting to receive and promote the proper photos. Those photos could be mine. Its been fun to put my entire brain into concept building. This year is going to be amazing for model, and clothing/headpiece design growth.
