Bohemian Style & Other New Things

Since I got my perm, I've been giving some deep thought to genres I've been shooting lately, and genres I'd like to be shooting based on my new hairstyle. Its getting longer every day, but before it sprouts back to the same place it used to be, I want to do several different variations of lighthearted bohemian styled shoots, to get the best of my think wavy locks, while they are here, and extreme.

One of the first photographers I talked about the bohemian feel with was Kevin Stenhouse. We were shooting a concept we had preplanned weeks early. By the end of the shoot we had our next concept preplanned :) Call us efficient :). Now I've got my eyes peeled for boho inspired pieces. If I can build up the style, and environment of the shoot, the photographer will only have one thing to focus on!

On the list of other new and exciting things going on, I have a meeting with ACAD this very morning. I've researched quite a few of the art schools around town. I used to do lots of muse work in Kelowna, at UBCO. I loved the work and thought, how fabulous would it be to be able to do it again. So I started at the beginning, where expected, at a fresh google tab. Its an amazing feeling to live in a place where I can feel the opportunities so ripe at the end of my fingertips. No doubt in my mind that delegation, and task managment is one of the most important things I could teach myself right now. There are an infinite amount of paths in front of me, so many that its unclear which path should be taken first.

I've just received the final prints from one of the very first dresses I ever created. This dress is only featured once, as it was sold shortly after its premier at the Fairy Nimph themed wedding on the 19th of October last year. I still plan to upload this piece in its rightful tab on my clothing design page. It was a piece made of inspiration, and vision. I plan to push my dresses more to the public. New photographers have inspired me to resume my design project at full speed. Soon there will be too much for a single muse. I want for them to be warn by fellow models. I want for them to be rented and used to fullfill the fantical dream of someone else. I do have thoughts of entering my line in fashion week as more pieces compile. I will do a post when my new dress has been added. The set is dreamy.
