Yesterday, I was on set with Shane Butler and his assistant Kim. He had picked an amazing location and shared with me his plans to shoot some sportswear by a local brand by the name: Local Laundry. You can view their website & line here: http://locallaundryapparel.com/collections/the-yyc-collection/sweatshirt

Shanes plan was to shoot the clothing on Sunday, but after our conversation and the excitment of the opportunity, we decided we'd like a "practice" round, if you will, the friday before hand. When I lived in Kelowna I had the opportunity to model a few local brands. They were some of my fondest modelling experiences. I met Shane and his assistant Kim on site at 10 am. One of the owners of the collection made an appearance as well, to drop off a few pieces of the line to be warn & modelled. It was my first outdoor project since BC. Jesus christ did it feel fabulous to be outside. The shooting process was smooth, and had way more laughing moments than expected. The location was full of vibrant colors and sunflaires. It had a rough factory vibe. We were able to shoot indoor and outdoor. I spread myself a little thin on friday and had to work on a tighter schedule. I told Shane we could practice for 2 hours. The two hours turned out to be ample time. We were able to capture an amazing series of shots in support of the business Local Laundry. You can see a few of them below:
