This week and next are really super exciting times because I will be shooting two fresh new pieces. From Floral Frippery, I will be shooting The Katie in a matter of days with Steve Osmond behind the lens, and Heather Paige for hair and makeup! This piece is mostly a different varieties of popping pinks. I really wanted to push the vibrancy of the color and just go for it. Sometimes bright can be hard to master. I am open to the challenge. I've been eagerly awaiting this shoot for weeks now. It will be one of my very last pieces of floral frippery. Its bittersweet to come to the end of something that was so fabulous and dear to me. The next piece I will be shooting is the second completed piece of my couture collection. I have not yet discovered its name. I'm not sure if I will name the independent pieces of the couture collection, or if they will all just merge as a whole.

This week is also exciting because I am dedicating large amounts of my time to uploading all of my finished product to Etsy for international sales options :) I am excited to have the opportunity to sell to a larger market. I will be doing lots more product promoting once all my product has been uploaded and is available for purchase. Already, I am focusing much more on product advertising: making sure the products are captured in detail and from a large range of angles and perspectives. I want to give the potential buyer something to look at. As Etsy will showcase my finished projects, and their final sale price, I will still feature various pieces, dresses, and other items specifically for local photographers and models. What this means is that if photographers/videographers/models/people in production want to rent a look for the day, I can this at an exclusive rate. I will be dedicating some time to the creation of a page on my website which showcases rental options, and clarifies rental rates/discounts.

Finally, this week is exciting because I am doing a MASSIVE spring closet clean out. I think I'm coming to terms with my shopaholic self. Going through the mass piles of clothes that have somehow compiled over the last 3 month or less gave me a greater awareness of my level of consumption. I have already begun implementing ideas and techniques to stray from my shopping habits. It seems like my kijiji page is more than full, but the pile of things I still have to take photos of & post is large.
