Shooting Floral Frippery in Calgary

I was oh so fabulously fortunate to come together with two very amazing and creative people who also happen to be very fun to spend time with TODAY. Heather Paige from Obsidian Artistry, and Steve Osmond Photography met with me at Steve's studio just after 10 am this morning to shoot my newest piece of Floral Frippery: The Katie!

I wanted to really push it and make it a project and piece all of its own. Steve and Heather were the perfect people to do that with :)

I woke up with a highly creative feeling, and carried it throughout the day. Heather and Steve seemed the same. The energy was equally as vibrant and exciting as I had remembered it to be during our last collaboration. The actual shooting of the piece was filled with adventures, theories and tests. Photographers were climbing, sheets were flying, models were jumping, and makeup artists we re perfecting the dynamics of all that were. Heather is so good with detail. She doesn't miss a thing, and also has time to snap amazing behind the scenes photos too. All photos in this post are credit to her. ALSO, Heather just received an amazing new camera so. here we go there.

Its so funny how the end so frequently just leads to new beginnings. The team (Steve, Heather & I) current chats pertain to bringing in a model or two as I step up to the role of stylist whilst pumping out new pieces from my couture collection. I am on the look out for a variety of models for my upcoming pieces. I will need both skinny and full-figured female forms :)
