New Month

Starting off November with a small coffee in a warm mug & a bit of chocolate. I am excited to report that the proof is in the pudding thus far in regards to the SEO keyword strategy. Today is a beautiful day as I prepare for an exciting project this afternoon featuring a model I have never worked with before but I am honored to have in my future portfolio. Jen Freedman as a photographer, this shoot will showcase brand new content. Looking back on last months sewing & clothing add ons, I'm thrilled to say I could spend the next month simply shooting without building any more pieces and not run out of new content. Its beautiful to watch the collection grow and build before my eyes. I feel more inspired with every piece that comes into reality.

What's really exciting to me as well is having other models & socialites in my designs. As I lean more and more towards vending opportunities and even begin to have thoughts of having a storefront, I love the visual of all these independent power-women, hand picked to be part of a collection growing by the day, by the minute. I've enjoyed the process of building pieces that correspond, and a collection that connects as a whole. I have begun to envision an environment where interested clients can come to try on garments and visualize their ideal clothing collection/pieces. For the time being I focus on community events & local vending opportunities as I'm confident this is a good place to learn and grow from this stage.

Figure modelling has really picked up towards the winter months, and my schedule is booked into December. I'm grateful to be able to focus on upcoming events & opportunities since client slots have been filled. It's a dream to work for so many amazing artists and institutions. From ACAD, to U of C, to private studios, the experience is always amazing to me and I'm always happy to be there. Time has taught me also, to always bring my own portable heater. Several upcoming classes throughout the week will keep me nice and busy up until Vacation time. Extra time in-between can be spent sewing, and shooting product. Time spent in website SEO is time well spent too.

New art photos have been added to the services/contact me tab. Time flies, but I'm happy to report I feel clear minded and grateful for what has been done in the past year and who I have been come to be known as and called upon. I love receiving the last minute calls for classes due to cancellations, as I know that I am thought of as someone who is active in the figure modelling/modelling community & might be available. I am excited as I look ahead to BC and see a variety of opportunities completely new and available.
