Its been 4 days since our return from Florida, but already I feel quite adapted and back into the swing of regular business and life. Looking back I see a jam-packed 7 days of adventure and fun. Looking forward I see winter full of abundance and joy. Blessed to be booked well into December, I now have the opportunity to get a head start on BC resource searching.

To recap October, it was very fashion focused, and business oriented. I started setting goals for daily income expectations late summer of this past year. I'm blessed and grateful to see these goals become standard so that I can build off of them and create new & more substantial ones. What once was a dream has become an everyday reality for me, giving me the opportunity to grow and build off that past dream.

By the end of the week I will have had 4 + days of figure modelling this week. This is standard as my figure model load varies base on which classes are running, where, and when. This past Tuesday I had stacked classes. I don't mind stacking classes as long as the classes are not overly strenuous or do not overlap. Today (thursday) is a stack day as well. Although I have a nice break in between the two which is fabulous and much appreciated :)

This coming weekend welcomes several shoots as well as the consistency of figure classes & one other contract job that keeps me quite busy. I've experienced feelings of liberation in the past 6 months that I'm not sure I've ever felt before. I love using mental techniques to appreciate what I have and taking time to focus in on my desires, as a professional, and also as an individual. It's absolutely difficult to stand against the people who don't understand what it means to have incentive or just to really dream. There is no connection as core values vary and can often cause feelings of frustration and disconnect. I realize there is a time and space to practice and appreciate lifestyle habits & techniques, and an intuitive recognition of the disconnect or vice versa in a public place is absolutely necesary.

The sewing room has appeared extra cozy the past few days as it's been below zero and the fireplace brings the space a serene warmth. I'm doing my best to build and fill inventory over the next few weeks before our return to BC. I've decided (due to my bursting calendar) not to attend any vending events here in Calgary. That being said, I've added new pieces daily and my racks are over flowing with merchandise and options to fit every wardrobe. I'm excited to look into vending opportunities in Kelowna as well as local businesses that may be open to splitting a retail space. I haven't taken pictures of or showcased anything I've made in the past 2 weeks ( 10 pieces +). As I mentioned already, I have plans to shoot more of the pieces in the next few weeks and I will continue shooting product in BC. I've been saving some of the pieces for my favorite photographers (of course...).

As November continues, it seems peaceful as 99% of the months space has been filled and I have but 1% to figure out what to do with (1 day). My goal is to have that day taken care of & filled by this evening so that I can tend to the BC schedule, starting January 01/2017. I also hope to get into a more consistent swing of blogging towards the end of the month. Sometimes my fabric & crafts distract me from my computer. Sometimes its necessary.
