Good morning/afternoon and happy Sunday. Today is bright and cheery and warm enough that my hoodie has kept me at a comfortable temperature without an alternate jacket. These are all very positive things.
Talking about content, there are a couple new sets in the 2016 " Calgary tab". I've still be receiving sets back from my time in Calgary and will continue to post said sets as they come in. The list of people I am waiting to receive content from is quite short, and I'm almost up to speed to receive some of my newest Kelowna collaboration photos. Yes, I have been shooting new content and yes, I will share it as I receive it as always.
I have an app on my phone that monetizes website traffic. I have noticed my website traffic increasing on a day-to-day basis. In note of this increase, I will be spending more time on the site, adding content and making the site more user friendly in any way possible. I have had a shift in attitude and thought towards selling my custom product last week. Over the past year I've experimented with several different techniques which have helped me to understand more about the business market of fashion. As I continue to manufacture product independently and serve my current clients, I look to the future optimistically as I begin to see the vast variety of opportunities that exist in a more specific & niche world., If I can just allow myself to truly sink into it. As the future progresses I encourage your feedback & insight, as an observer and also as an opinion outside my own.
As February unfolds ahead, I look forward to new figure modelling classes and also a month full of shooting. As I watch my collection of finished product grow I think more about how I can incorporate that product into a vision that belongs to a fellow entrepreneur or business to increase awareness. I am interested in collaborations and group projects to come as I realize I would like for my designs to be seen by more eyes and more creative collaborators.
Shopping for fabric down here in little bitty Kelowna has been a bit of a challenge for me. I was excited to find a sleek and stretchy black fabric just yesterday. I am excited to see what will come of it and I anticipate I will have a couple hours of studio time as the day progresses.
