First of all, sorry for taking so long to launch the new month. To say I've been busy is a lame excuse. Everybody's busy. Everybody's got a world of things happening at one time. Truthfully, I've placed my focus on my designs over the past few weeks, as well as clients, who seem to pop up with every sunny day that comes. I have to tell you, it feels great to know there are other artists ready and waiting for the weather to clear as much as me. I see April being quite the jam-packed hustle and potentially the end of March as well. My studio feels quite full of new designs and fabrics and my goal is to have a new piece on the rack for every sunny day that is to come. The day before yesterday we sat above zero at an almost comfortable but still windy 7. On days like that there is nothing I would rather do besides power down in the studio for as long as possible.
I'm also dedicating intervals of time towards the things most people won't see. It's time again, to maximize SEO settings and also reply to photo comments & messages on IG. Instagram is such a fascinating app, but in many ways, its very complex to know and understand. Especially with all the app-add-ons and features. I've found night posting quite successful. I also like to display my work in a 3 series set. I find it visually appealing and eye-catching. I've made a list of the different categories of fashion to add to my "handmade collections" category. I'm stoked for an avante-garde tab coming soon, showcasing some of my most daring and controversial pieces.
7 feels like 11 today (time wise). I've got a huge day ahead and I'm only just at the beginning. On top of it all I just got a call from Malaysia that just took 20 minutes out of my day. #scamcity . Sometimes it can be a process just to think about/figure out what is the most efficient and handy way to deal with a situation. I did a bit of research to confirm I'm not the only one who has gone through said situation. I then discarded the situation. I find that from a business perspective, there is not a enough time to let the small things consume you. I find it important to stay on target with thoughts and goals, otherwise one can easily be overwhelmed and anxious.
Todays photo was taken by Conor Teahen. Makeup credit to Top Notch Makeup Artistry. This team was the A team. I want to talk all about this set, but for now I've just attached 1 photo as a special peek. I'll do a special blog about this set. It deserves so much more than just a paragraph. This gala gown will be going into the avante garde section.
