Last Week Of March

About a 1/3 way through the mornings Americano and you might call me wired. Stoked for another day full of connecting and building. I hope the thrill sticks around for a while. Sometimes it seems hard to originally sink down into the cushy ocean of creativity. I often find myself sitting on the outskirts in a more speculative mindset, which keep my cynical, and often too far from the creativity I need to produce what I really want to see. I think no matter what you do, it can be hard to get into truly doing that. I don't know what caused this analytical mind to take forefront and overcharge my born-into mindful way of thinking. I find comfort in knowing I'm not the only one working to get back to mindfulness.

Today I'm posting nice and fresh off the bat so I can move back into the studio. I feel both inspired and challenged by a brand new clients designs needs. I'm absolutely ecstatic to continue learning and understanding this new build and structure. Design is my passion, as well as a huge part of my future.

If the weather warms, I plan to continue to shoot some of my newest summertime pieces later today with the A-team (Conor Teahen) (at break time.) Every couple 4 hours or so I find I need to pop my head out of the studio. Step back from the work, step back from the thoughts., change the focus, find mindfulness.

I am still somewhat waiting for the weather to worn. I found it a bit of a setback to leave the house at -1 degrees. boo. None the less we progress with all that is artistic and all that I love. The list grows for photographers that want to work on art nude photography. The list also grows of clients searching for custom designs. This is all very good news.

It's crazy to think Mike and I have entered into our last month of time in Kelowna. holy smokes. Are we really almost a quarter way through the year?

You should be able to check in my Kelowna tab for new shoots posted by the end of the day. There might be more new work in the art nude gallery as well. I find that when I'm in the studio I really can't pull myself away from the sewing machine for tech time as I once used to. I find myself so focused. So interested in what I'm doing. Mostly I find it most useful to go for a coffee or find a bit of downtime for the coffeeshop/work environment so that I can do all that needs to be done on a technical level. I find this very time efficient in comparison to the back and forth of not being able to focus on one task because I'm thinking of all that needs to be done at the same time.

Todays blog photos are credit to Conor Teahen. Conor is one of the most consistent and dedicated photographers I know in the Okanagan. I'm absolutey grateful for our working relationship.
