Here it is. My very last day in Kelowna for a little while. I'd say finally but I've by no means been counting down the days. Time has flown all on it's own. I've just been over here doing my own thing. In my opinion, the last month has gone by the fastest. That could possibly be because I've felt very satisfied in my contracts and working relationships. Its been nice to wrap up on such a positive note as sometimes moving feels rushed and stressful.

I wrapped up my time in the city with a private session with a client. I didn't expect to have time at the beginning of the week for said project, but my former contract ended a couple days earlier than expected and I was approached in the most perfect frame of timing. By default, sometimes my sessions run short. We tend to get content quickly and my clients don't feel held back by my hourly minimum as I don't have one. I find that with this artist in particular, time really flies. Before I know it, a 4 hour session has past. Its amazing to work with people and artists of vision and integrity. I think this artist is proof that a worthy idea can go a long way. I've enjoyed posting his art and will continue to do so as I receive it. I am so grateful we were able to have one last session before my departure from the city. It's so nice to receive emails at random over the weeks and months, from my clients finished work as it is completed.

As Calgary calls I put pen to paper (my calendar). I've already planned several product shoots, and I've begun to look back on my model lists in attempts of getting multiple models involved. I look forward to working on some more dynamic projects and ideas and I watch my brand and product line expand and grow. I realize how much I enjoy involving others in my work and I look forward to reconnecting with many friends and connections established last year.

Its been a nice last week in the city as I worked to shoot some of my most recent product. I shot over the weekend, as well as Monday and Tuesday. I have a tendency to like to shoot the product as fast as I can make it so that I can ship it out immediately if necessary.

This coming weekend I'll be away from the studio and out of my usual environment as Mike and I will be attending a wedding and moving into our new place shortly after. It's going to be a quick and hopefully fluid experience. It's been a minute since I've been to a wedding so I'm looking forward to the experience. I've made a gown I hope to wear as a guest. I'm on the fence about it as I have a few options.

I encourage you to pop over to the "Collections" tab. I've opened a new category of many new everyday pieces. I'd like to work on a swimsuit segment potentially as well as I've made more than a collection full over the past few months and feel it needs a place to be showcased in an organized fashion.

Photo credits from today's blog are credit to Danielle Gillard. We headed to the beach for a shoot just a few weeks back. I loved shooting with her and we've shot together again since. It's always nice to add new names to my book of clients/collaborators. It's even nicer when I find consistent, reliable, and professional photographers. I am so grateful to work with some truly professional photographers and individuals.
