Sweet Summer Flow

The past two weeks have been a whirlwind of creativity and art, yet at the same time it's been peaceful, and quiet. I feel like I live in a world where anything is possible. It's hard to tell who has a job and who works from home., Who is a an entrepreneur, and who has no interest/need to make money. Really, the focus isn't and shouldn't be on what others are doing. I used to look outward for inspiration and insight but now a days it seems there are a million different places to look. It seems the only place I can look to get an honest answer on what type of schedule and entrepreneurial lifestyle makes me the happiest is myself. This is good news, as I have quite a few ideas of what I like to do creatively and sustainably.

I find infinity and deepness through the concept of true fascination. I think that being truly interested in things causes them to expand. Personally, thinking above, around, and beyond something that is of interest to me unlocks more doors and opportunities than imaginable. Figurative/art modelling could be the perfect example of this for me. Who was to know the job even existed?, If it wasn't for commitment., and if it wasn't for thinking outside the box. If it wasn't for those things I might not have ever known.

The past few days I've felt most focused on my figurative portfolio. I'm fascinated by the idea that so much can be expressed using so little. My creative lifestyle has gathered much momentum and I trust in its continuity. I put new dates into my calendar daily, and am excited to be booked into August. Hard to believe that will be my last month in Calgary. Time has truly flown by.

On the design side of things I've got a couple projects in the works. Publication worthy, the team putting this set together is going for gold. Outside of that I've gone all out on the creative spectrum once again. Letting use and working with some color. It feels nice. Lately I look around the room and all I see is black. Lovely and beautiful black.

Just a few days ago I did some figurative work with George Brunt. We went to the most beautiful location, waterfalls everywhere. He speedily returned several photos from the set to me, I've shared a few below.
