July Mood Boosters

Coming into July, I had hoped I would be able to be involved in/at the Stampede this year. Mike and I went for a day last year and it was my first time. I loved it, but more than be there I want to work there, and really feel like I'm a part of it. I put my interest out to many who were seeking help/support, and I found a cool/unique booth to be a part of. The process was simple. I simple kept on trying and being hopeful and kept in mind that I believe what I am seeking is also seeking me.

I've been drawn to online inspiration as I am human and have both amazing moments and awakening times when I feel it would be really nice to have wise, non-biased, level headed advice.

I've posted a few of my favorites below. I assume that if I continue to be inspired by by mantras, quotes, and words of optimism as I have for the past 3 + years, I may continue to share more right here.

This year I've felt different and more confused and intrigued by time than ever. Time teaches me things about people, and of course myself.

I realize that as humans, we are not all the same. We come from different countries and places, we have different stories and experiences, we are different colors and shapes. Yet we are the same in that we are human. We breathe the same air, we drink the same water, we are all homo sapiens. I consider humans different than other mammals in that mostly all other mammals stick together, defend, and protect each other as a heard/family/united force/whatever you will. For example: Deer live in harmony with other deer. They respect each others spaces and right to life, and they do not threaten each other. I can't help but wonder what inspired this craze of disrespect and disregard.

I have found a few humans that have proved to me that it is possible to live and form a lifestyle around the idea of the greater good and well being of all. They have full hearts and good intentions. They really care. I have seen the looks they get, the confusion, and the judgement as they do things that are different and unique specifically because they live with intention and integrity. I also see the humility, and the respect that comes with time. With time, I find the truth reveals itself.
