Well here we are. I'm super duper happy to have this time which I set aside especially to do this. (That being said, I hope I don't take more than 55 minutes to do this because that is all the time I set aside.) It's been a whirlwind of a week filled full of eye opening moments and decision making.
Tonight I'll be modelling at Brian's "Atelierartista". It'll be my second time there since I've been in Calgary. I'm very excited about it.
I made a little movie yesterday. It's something that's been on my mind lately and I felt really strongly about acting on my desire. I just did something basic. I realize in film you really don't need a lot. A little says so much and goes so far. To me at least.
I've always been fascinated by movies, and film, but confused to what my place would or could ever be in that type of environment. One thing I noticed about making my movie yesterday was that I really loved the aspect of filming. Yes, also creating a story line that flows and connects, but also filming all the different pieces from different angles and then putting them all together in a manor that flows and carries momentum. As it's my first completed project of this kind, I'm not sure if I will be sharing it or not :/
Man. Time flies when I change what I want to write about ever 10 minutes. There's just so much. I've got a few creative evenings a head of my, and outside of that, I'm open to build resources, work on my website, and just feel the creative flow.
I feel optimistic about the craft of cinematography, and eager to continue to be fascinated and intrigued by it. It feels good to have time to try new things and push myself creatively. I'd be horrified to think that calling myself one thing might prevent me from being able to partake in another. I'd still like to try. How can passion be found if it is not sought? What if it's in an unexpected place? Only experience could yield the answer. I believe there is always more passion to be found, and more goodness to experience; more feelings to feel, more lessons to learn, and more opportunities to connect and be the best person I can be.
Below I've featured a few photos showcasing my handmade bikinis.
