Oh my. How time seems to compile & disappear. It still feels very much like the beginning of August to me. The more I think about it, the more I come into the realization that I am 1/3 through my last month in Calgary. As I go through my books and emails crossing off all my "to-dos" and "if-I-have-times", days pass. It feels good to get things done and play "catch-up" in a sense.

Last month was for tidying. This month is for packing. Slowly and as the timing feels right I bring out the boxes and bins and begin to fill and label them. I love to pack almost as much as I love to do puzzles, which is a lot. It feels good to be organized and ahead of schedule. I feel like with every task that is completed I make room for new thoughts and ideas.

I held a very special figure drawing class last Friday. I plan to continue this event every Friday for the month, excluding the 18th. For more info on this class, feel free to send me a message. It was so awesome to spend Friday night with artistic, passionate people.

Over the past few weeks I've been both shooting often, are receiving sets back from previous shoots. One of my most recent sets won't be coming back to me for a while because the team has plans to submit. I haven't been focused on submissions this year and I'm refreshed by the teams interest and optimism. I look forward to seeing the set in the future.

Tomorrow and the next few weeks welcome the beginning of a new promotional contract. I'm excited for the opportunity to try something new and to push myself to think outside the box. I feel really grateful to have found a contract that complies so well with the end of my time in the city. It's amazing how life can align when you give it the power to.

If you follow my on IG you've likely read these already. To highlight I'm listing some of my favorite and most inspiring quotes I've found in the past week below:

"I didn't know where I was going until I got there."

"Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know."

"Someday we will look back and know exactly why it had to happen."

"Accept what is. Let go of what was. Have faith in what is coming."

"You are free to choose, but you are not free from he consequences of your choices."

"tension is who you should be, relaxation is who you are."
