Snowy November

Hello Friends.

I'm happy to be blogging today. Although it's only been about a week since my last jot it feels longer.

The past few weeks have a been a bit different and out of the usual but I feel I'm settling into the new season well. I feel full of inspiration and have many creative friends that are in the same mind set. Moving into winter things are looking very creative.

Yesterday was a big day filled with classes. I started in the morning at Okanagan College and finished with a class at CATO in the afternoon. I've been having a great time with the classes and really loving the time I get to spend doing what I'm passionate about.

Today was special for many reasons, first and foremost because it is 11:11. In my opinion that's a whole day for wishing and 2 special changes at the jackpot. I went to art knapps in the early afternoon (it's been on my to-do list for too long) and it felt like the perfect time. The women at the front we re pricing down the succulents and catci in hopes that they would have a warm home for the winter! It was quite cool in the store and I was stoked to be able to grab a few and know I was saving them from the winters coldness. Mike and I have been planning our herb Garden for a while now so I figured although it is winter, since I am planting indoors I can start with that. I've learned that thyme can grow well if cared for properly and I've started with a couple different kinds of that. I had fun putting all my new plant friends in their special places.

Tomorrow Conor and I are planning a creative set featuring some of my newer designs. One of them made in September, the other made just last week, I've created a pair of two gowns of the purple pallet that I'm really excited to prance around in the snow in.

The set I've shared today is from my last shoot with Conor, around thanksgiving!
