We re about 4 days into the no-snow sequence. Knock on wood that continues.

Today was open and reserved for creativity. I was so happy to see the sun and be able to go out and do some gathering with Mike. I got a chance to gather some very interesting and beautiful botanicals that I look forward to studying and craft with.

I found a cool show on netflix called green porno that I think is very educational and interesting. From there I took my interest to youtube where I was able to find more of Isabellla Rossilini's short films pertaining to animal biology. I found it really insightful and I came aware from it with an awareness of things I didn't know before. I recommend it to anyone open to learning :)

I'll be heading over to my comforting and warm green magic page shortly as I feel I have a lot of content to add there. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite pages and I hope to spend more time there as December arrives.

I'm looking forward to receiving some exciting and creative sets from Conor over the next few weeks as we've done some cool and outside-the-box things. We don't shoot indoor often but we had access to an awesome location in Kelowna so we had to go!

The next few weeks are also exciting as a long time photographer friend of mine is coming to the city. I'm excited to focus directly on some figurative art work, which is the plan.

Photos from the day are from my early fall shoot with Conor, this time showcasing my second mend on the forest green dress I made just before leaving Calgary. I'm really happy to have this dress as part of my handmade collection. It's really organic and vibrant to me. Everything about it screams nature.

Check Green Magic for new content ASAP.
