Before today, I don't think I've ever realized how the months and days reflect back to us the never-ending life lesson that every end is in fact a new beginning. December brings, yet again a new and fresh start. From 30, we loop back to zero. It's fascinating to me and I'm always grateful for a chance to begin again. Although it's crispy and cool this morning, it hasn't stopped me from my somewhat usual extra-iced Americano. The grounds are dry and I'm grateful for another snow-less day. Please don't misunderstand me, there are many things I love about the snow., But as the snow comes it often tends to bring forth many risks and hazards. Driving becomes increasingly difficult, roads often unsafe, citizens often unprepared to deal with the conditions. The seasons bring forth many changes and things which require awareness and consideration. I'm so appreciative for the prolonged amount of time we've had between now and our last snow fall. No matter what, I know were blessed to have had this time and I strive to continue to do valuable things with it.
Last week a talented photographic friend of mine was in town and our schedules were nice and flexible allowing us time to shoot some fine art together. I've shared a few in this post. Photos are credit to black.prince.photo (ig account). It's so refreshing and amazing to work with people so able and willing to focus and make time for their craft and passion. It is truly an amazing thing to experience.
Looking into my design closet I realize I've got a few designs I've made and finished but they have not been shot quite yet. As the upcoming days pass and weeks approach I'll be focusing more on shooting & collaborating. I'll be posting on my timeline to attempt to increase awareness. I realize sights like facebook are still very popular in many places, and I have the understand this is one of those places. I haven't had facebook for a couple years now, I'm not overly interested in the form of networking. Regardless, in the past I would use the sight to connect with locals. I've attempted to do this on instagram but find local accounts further and fewer between. I'm not sure if this is a personal searching error or if instagram is still becoming popular in these regions. I'm optimistic about my collab related posts and am confident it will bring the right collaborators into my realm.
It's a great big creative day, and my biggest difficulty has been deciding what I want to do the most. Today's blog is more of a requirement. I'm committed to my blogging and I plan for it's continuance always until further notice. Now that I've checked that off the list I can return back to the house for some more creative based activities. Sometimes when I have work to do online, I have to leave the house to separate myself for the craftiness that otherwise distracts me. It's not the worst problem to have I'd say. I'm happy to ride over to starbucks for a couple hours and a change of environment. I find environment changes most often inspiring. If I focus properly inside the space, I can find clarity, and answers for the day, and in my life in general.
