Decembers End

For starters., it feels amazing to be coming out of the month of December. It's been crazy crispy and at this rate the wondrous white powder will be following Lake country into January.

this was a great month for sewing. I've been cleaning up the loose/stray end fabrics by completing a variety of tops & dresses based on the fabrics needs. I've worked with several different colors and created some pieces I'm happy to add to the collection. Warmer weather will give me an opportunity to showcase them.

It's been a great month for reflecting on and appreciating friendships, relationships, and family. I felt I've had a lot of time to think about the things I'm grateful for. In retrospect the overwhelming support and love I reflect on inspires me. I feel inspired in more way than I feel I can direct and focus at times, but despite the chaos, I stay proactive. This month my special DIY has been crystals. I found a simple yet scientific recipe that I love to whip up whenever I have the time. Over the days, and weeks, my crystal collection grows. It's so fun and I plan to document the progression and share photos.

I'm optimistic about January and warmer weather. It opens so many doors and opportunities to shoot/be outside. Spring is a time of year that I can't say I've ever taken too much time to appreciate in the past. I look forward to making time and space for that this year. My hopes are that spring brings forth tons of sun! I realize it gives me many feelings of optimism.

The new year is coming quickly, and with it, I'm feeling open minded and excited for all that may come.
