Art update

Oh March. Full of so many unexpected changes. This past week + has been crazy. Full of changes in schedule and activities. With every spare chance I get I take a box from the closet and continue to pack things away. I've used all our bins and we are now into boxes. I never like to pack with as many boxes as bins, which I hope means most of the packing is done and accounted for. When it comes to packing, I prefer to do it over time than feel last minute about the process. Years have taught me; when it comes to cleaning, there's always more. I find if I start as early as possible I deal with less surprises and shocks along the way. This coming weekend Mike and I will be going on a little vacation outside of the city and I could not be more relieved for that getaway. It's been many smudged weeks since we've been out of town, so I'm feeling very excited for some "fresh air".

No snow this week but still not that "Spring feeling" we've all been hoping for. It's been brisk and cool mostly all day everyday coming into the new week. Less sun than I might've expected and definitely more chills than anticipated. I've received news it's still feel very winter-like in Calgary so I'm hopefully for warmth in AB as well. I'm not sure how much cold I can handle this year. I feel before we know it we'll be half way through it. I remain optimistic that we will see summer here in Canada this year.

Last couple days of the art exhibit down at the gallery. I'm still so happy that was able to come together during my time here.

I feel blessed and very lucky to be able to work with such talented artists. I'm looking forward to Calgary with optimism, knowing it offers me the opportunity to reconnect and be artistic with many profound human beings.
