The beginning of the month came forward with a lot of momentum. I didn't spend as much time as I'm used to spending at the house and because of that, much of the work that needs/ed to be to done there had to be put off. Coming into the beginning of April tomorrow I'm feeling surprisingly ready and off to a good start. I wasn't sure that "running behind" feeling would ever subside.

After taking the time to think about how to sort and share new photos, especially fine art photos, I've decided that I will continue to add them to the consisting fine art nude work for the time being. Perhaps by 2019 the gallery will be outgrown but for now I still feel there is plenty of space and I really love the updates I decided on for the page late last year. I like the mix between quotes and photos. Often I feel many of my morals and affirming thoughts come from quotes from all kinds of philosophers and intelligent people. It's nice to be able to share a bit of that in a place where they have a bit of their own spotlight.

I'm excited to share the upcoming work with Giovanni because our work has progressed over several years now and I feel a great sense of gratitude towards the relationship we have been able to work as a team to build and continue with over time.

This afternoon, Ryan ( El Ningen) and I will be shooting our second set of the season together. It's been fun to work with him. I had known him in the past but more as a part of a team. It's been refreshing and creatively inspiring to work with him towards his ideas and goals. It's a treat for me to work with artists that have their own list of portfolio work/ideas to add to their book/website. Yes, I love to have ideas and bring ideas to the table but I am also refreshed to be able to simply follow along and work to grasp and transform into an idea that is not my own. I really love the process honestly.

Today I've shared a photo from my last set with Giovanni. We will be shooting together again in just a few weeks and I'm excited to have yet another batch of photos to put forward. With Giovanni I am never concerned about getting the right shots. I have so much faith in his artistic perspective. He constantly moves in different directions about the pose, gathering many photos of different angle of 1 pose. I find this tactic brilliant because if the photographer moves, all the pose is the same, it will have changed due to location/angle view.

It feels good to get my minimum of 4 blogs done this month before April. I love to find the time to do it. For April, I hope to have a bit more self motivation towards blogging, whether the time is there or not. It's something I enjoy and also it helps me feel quite organized. I have a reference of the things I am doing when I do them and I appreciate it more as more time progresses.

Photo credit to Giovanni (Gioklik) . You can access his website through my fine art page. I believe my gallery with him is right near the top. Just click on his name to go directly to his site and projects. The florals you see in the photo were collected and dried over the fall. A project I found much pleasure in. I've kept my flower drying tools aside in case the spring yields any beautiful specimens before my time here is up. If not I will be keeping my eyes peeling in Calgary!
