I wonder what your June is like where you are reading this.

Here in Calgary June is a bit unpredictable.

Last weeks beautiful 25 celcius has vanished & the brisk winds have brought the cool airs closer.

It has been a great opportunity to stay inside & work on design requests.

I have been working to push awareness about the services I offer in regards to sewing, customizing & up-cycling. I've been experimenting with a few different platforms to accomplish this. Initially I felt myself having to get familiar with the process once again but over time and with consistency I find myself encouraged by the wonderful people who approach me with their ideas and/or needs. The day flew by as I worked on a few different designs which each required their own time, thought, and precision. I find myself enjoying the challenges of exploring techniques with which I am less familiar so that I can understand them better.

This past week I re-organized my design space. I don't usually build my designs in this space per say, but this is where I keep & display them. I love having the space. It has become an exciting process as I finish each design to be able to add it to the studio it's special space awaiting pickup or rental, what ever the case may be for each specific garment.

I am so relieved to find the organization that comes with writing & keeping things organized. I feel prepared for tomorrow regardless of the weather as today's progress have paved a path into tomorrow. A part from the day's regular routine of meals, household cleaning, & plant care, I look forward to some creative time & the opportunity to work on a more abstract & artistic project.

Here are a few photos of a few of the pieces I have been working on.
