Holy Monday., what a beautiful day it is to be grateful to be alive.

My relationship with gratitude has felt more tight-knit in the past.... A situation I am hopeful to improve on.

I am so grateful to have spent this past saturday morning with my dear friend Robyn. This morning we were joined by a model we've both have had the pleasure of connecting with over the past few weeks & months, Samantha. I am also grateful for the beautiful weekend. After one of the coldest winters I have lived to talk about, the feeling of the warm sun on my skin is a feeling I truly cherish & appreciate.

Today has had a great creative flow & I am so encouraged by a constant & ongoing interest in the designs I've been sewing & the possibilities that exist. I've been putting a great focus on technicality & finish over the past few weeks & am so amazed by the big differences the small details can make. It's really wonderful to be able to collect resources & learning tools that really work for me.

Monday is an interesting day to me. A symbolic "restart" in my mind. I realize I commonly look to Monday's as an opportunity to organize & build on all that is & all that I am hopeful will continue. Organization runs deep in my veins. In my mind there are different sorts of organization.... to name a few: there is physical organization, at the house & around the home. Also in the yard & garden. Alternatively there is electronic organization. I don't find myself talking about electronic organization often but I find it to be a worthwhile habit. Just this morning I've organized files & images, transferring from my phone to the rightful folders for storage, & use. It can be a time consuming process, but it really is such a relief to know where things are.

This evening I am very much looking forward to a fashion forward project & shoot. I am grateful to be working with Tyler Hamende & Alexia Day on this. We will be shooting some of my more recent designs, they connect in that they are all really natural & earthy tones. I have so enjoyed working in numbers, its wonderful when others bring their creative contributions & insights.

Below I've shared a few designs I've been working on upon request. I have been having such a wonderful time getting to know some truly creative people. It has been an amazing experience to work to build something that aligns with another's vision. Yes I do enjoy creating my own designs but I have recently found a deep passion for sewing together other peoples ideas & visions.

The rental rack is also being worked on regularly. I've started a community based system that offers locals the opportunity to rent a design for a week at a time. The cost is nominal., 5.00 per piece of clothing. I have received positive feedback on the concept & it's really exciting to observe as it gains momentum.

In the sewing room, apart from sewing, I am also working on capturing each piece that's made for future reference & sharing. Looking through the room I see many designs I've yet to share. I plan to continue on that task today.
