It's been a challenge to dedicate to my "4 blog posts per month" goal.

I've been preoccupied by so many thoughts & feelings.

Feeling bursts of fluidity mixed in with intervals of feeling frozen.

I've also felt determined in a way I don't remember feeling for a while.

I did have a chance to upload a few new galleries to the 2019 portfolio tab a week or so ago, which I am glad I did. I realize having a mouse close by when I'd like to do some website work would make the process much less agitating to me as I find it extremely faulty using the laptop mouse to try & do website updates.

I have a big work day planned for tomorrow & don't want to deal with the responsibility of having to meet my personal blog goal in the small amount of space I will have to break & revamp. I realize I've developed a last-minute habit over the past while. In retrospective it seems unnecessary.

I've decided to create a book list following this post as I'd like to share some of my favorite book & various content I've read & that's resonated with me this year. I've never proactively taken time to read books before this year but I am grateful that I have gotten to a place that I can. Information is wonderful. I've always felt that good & wholesome information never goes out of date. I've always enjoyed scoping thrift store book shelves for older & usually non-fiction titles.

It's absolutely a huge relief to be experiencing some summer weather. The past week has been full of warmth & blue skies.

I have been working on being a more prepared version of myself this year, knowing winter always seems to appear faster than I expect it.

To help myself out I've kept an eye out for winter wear coming out of season.

I am hopeful to have my blog & book list goals for the morning wrapped up & published by 10 30 so that I can continue with the days on goings & tasks.

I plan to be sewing for the greater part of the day as I have a new batch of favorites to replicate by request. I have come to really enjoy sewing replications & favorites for people in whatever fabric/color they prefer. I am grateful for the opportunity.

Below I've shared a few of a set I am so grateful for. This set features a few designs I sewed earlier in the 2019 season. Modelled by my dear friend Miss Alexia Day & myself.
