It's been a great month to eat beans from the vine. Finally, after a cool spring, the beans have grown from their vines in the back yard and are ripe for picking. It appears that most of what I've grown in the garden year has sprouted a little later than last year. Taking the cold weather into consideration, this makes sense to me. At the beginning of the season I decided to plant a collection of beans in two planters that each had the bottom part of a ladder stuck into it to ground the ladder. As the beans grew I then wrapped them up and around the rustic ladder. I have had a lot of fun watching them grow and blossom. I love plants that I can interact with & help to grow.
All month long, it appears my words are playing hide and seek with me. When I'd like to use them I can't find them.
The beauty of the now is knowing there many not be an instant cure to the issue. Sometimes for me, simply knowing is enough. The truth has a solid vibration about it. I find it's resonance within the core of my being unmistakable.
Recent hypnotherapy has taught me to me to just sit in the feeling of discomfort, whether it be loss for words, sadness, loneliness. As much as I've spent years giving optimism to the idea that there must be a solution, a way to ease the feelings (get back on track)....Of late I've realized sometimes there just ins't one. What is "the track", if not a balanced dose of all feelings.
On the contrary, it appears, often things turn out the opposite or much different than how I might have anticipated. The thought tugs on an enticing yet long conversation about expectations. Perhaps I'll save that one for a day when I feel a little more fluid with words.
I've recently taken on a new position & role within the community. Still at the beginning of this new journey, it has felt wonderful to find a space that somehow feels like home to work and be an asset however I can. I am both excited & grateful for this new experience. My hope is that I may grow there over time, whilst also building connections and friendships within the community. I find myself encouraged by the people I work with and serve within that space.
Below are a few photos of the beans I've grown this year as they progress and blossom.
