September Serendipity

Even in dark times, a truly alive & open eye spots the silver lining.

What is good without bad?

What is yin without yang?

Can one exist without the other?

What would humanity be without the ability to observe and learn about the contrast between the two?

My own ability to catch a glimpse of the silver lining during dark times reminds me of my passion and hunger for life.

A passion and hunger I seem to forget about from time to time.

As wonderful as it is to re-familiarize myself with these feelings, caution lurks as past feelings and emotions linger.

Stigma and trauma seems to follow closely behind me, waiting for their ideal opportunity to fill my mind with past realities.

Through awareness of the internal battle I seek solutions to calm the combat.

Hypnotherapy offers a voice of reason where I otherwise would not know where to look.

A friendly, reaffirming voice mostly reminding me to breathe.

Alternatively, suggesting everything has been and will be okay., And as I linger on the words they become more real and more apparent to me. There, in the midst of it all., I find these light, shiny pieces of serendipity.
