November has been beautiful & full of mild intervals, weather wise.
Today & yesterday dipped down to cooler temperatures (-18,-20).
It's been a crispy time.
I'm so glad the house is staying nice & warm and the plants are growing prosperously.
The Christmas season is and has been a great way for me to be more creative.
I've been spending more time crocheting & having creative thoughts about what I can create that may be appreciated and/or treasured over the years.
I did a craft Market a few years ago ( more focused around my handmade designs) and I find myself thinking back on it often. Although the market had been slow that year, I had a great experience & connected with some awesome vendors and artists.
I think it would be wonderful to work towards vending at another Market. If I did, I would plan to focus at least a bit more on my crochet sets & creations. I've had several ideas lately for my crocheting & am hopeful they would be well received.
I've always enjoyed keeping my hands busy, especially in the evenings at home, whilst watching a show, etc.
I'd like to get back into the habit of continuing to crochet more regularly and create an inventory of my finished creations so that I can sell them when I find the right vending opportunity during the right season.
I used to be more drawn to crocheting scarves, and hats, more classic things, but over the years I've found myself expanding outside of that shell and crafting some fairly unique and fun items. It would be really fun to have a bundle of favorite designs from a year of building & creating to share & show. The idea really resonates with me.
One of my favorite parts of the Christmas season here in Cold Calgary is bringing out & lighting my candles. I love the warmth they bring.
