Sometimes when I create mood boards for shoots I also include word-blocking. I put a group of words together to describe the cohesive nature of the photos. It's a funny thing to do but I find it highly effective. I think its amazing how powerful words can be.., Apart from and within sentences.

The theme for this shoot changed when the weather, with wind chill, proved to be a lot cooler than forecast. It was wonderful to have a chinook last week that came in perfect timing & was warm enough for a more make-shift concept. As I examined the bush I felt inspired by just before we shot together some keywords in my mind were: lush, detail, editorial, real.

Vic has been such a pleasure to shoot with over the past year! I love these photos & so many more that came from this quick, creative shoot.

I am looking forward to the upcoming year & opportunities to be creative as a team.
