January has been off to a solid start.
Making room for the new years art & creative segments I will need to create a few new tabs & pages here on the site.
This morning I am excited to be catching up with my dear friend Danielle.
Creating art & also just chatting and connecting with her over the past few years has been such a highlight for me. She is such a dear friend & also an amazing artist & creative being. She has an exhibition coming up this February that I am very excited to attend/see,
2020 has been very real & fast paced,
Later last week the very cold weather came.
It's been interesting & something I've grown out of experience with.
The last time I experienced weather this cold would have been 2012 - when I lived in fort st. John. It can get extremely cold there often & winters are long.
This whole week we've been below -20 with windchills of -39 at times.
Below are a few photos I took yesterday AM.
Also a photo of a swimsuit I cut & sewed Tuesday afternoon.
I really like this fabric, it's so great for swimwear. It has a really nice high quality stretch to it & an added thickness I haven't found in all spandex. I have a bit left so I plan to make an alternative/interchangeable set.
