This week

The past week has been one that has put me in a highly reflective state.

The bubble of the all surrounding news & talk of covid-19 has changed so many aspects of life.

I'm amazed at the momentum in which so much is changing.

In the past week, most non-essential services throughout the city have closed their doors for the time being. All are encouraged and advised to practice "social distancing" and stay at home.

In my own life, I have been laid off from one my previously ongoing positions. Yesterday I received the news. It was not unexpected with all the preventive steps being taken at this point in time.

I am grateful to have been laid off instead of let go. Regardless it is a very strange feeling.

Words are becoming hard to find so for now I leave this short update with 1 preview of the collection of photos shot by Danielle during our last meeting/catch up. I brought one of my small lanterns along and she got so creative with it. We had a wonderful time.
