March has been a whirlwind of events and emotions.
I've been enjoying starting out the mornings I am not working with a list of things I'd like to get done throughout the day/ before work in the afternoon. I am always amazed at how effective a list can be at helping me stay on track and accomplish the things I'd originally set out to do and often more.
This morning I'm on track to complete most of what I had wanted to do before work this afternoon and again I am looking to my list in gratitude.
Extra time at home has inspired some deep cleaning. I've started downstairs as I'd like to think I maintain the upstairs space and it is already quite close to where I'd like it to be right now, organization wise. Downstairs is different as it often becomes the place things get put to "deal with later". I find the "little by little" technique a great way to slowly but also quickly achieve success when organizing. The whole storage unit does not have to be completely sorted at one time. One shelf at a time, when the timing is good, is a great way in which I love to organize. Often I find I am able to complete the whole unit at one time, but it is the breakdown of tasks that helps my mind to process the process and get through things step by step.
In the future I'd like to do a post specifically about some of my plants. They been of great enjoyment to me on the days I've not been working as much with all that has been happening right now. I continue to trim and propagate throughout spring. I decided to part with a few of my plants, allowing them to find a place in new homes. This has allowed me to provide some extra care to the ones I have kept, and place them in naturally lit spaces that optimize their growth and health. We've had most of these plants for over a year now, and some of them are really very special to me. I thought it would be fun to take some time to enjoy them on the blog, exploring on a deeper level, what they are, how old they are, and how they benefit the space.
In continuation with my list today, I no longer hear the sound of the dryer spinning so I assume the laundry has finished. I'm off to get that folded and then add another tick to the list of "done".
Since I've not yet added a few of my most recent galleries to the website, here are a few more from my most recent shoot/time with Danielle Nicole <3
