First Week Of May

I've been wanting to do this post for days and now that the time has arrived I find myself short of words., Preoccupied by the sun and the plants all around, I find myself thinking it would be convenient to get into habit of changing the timing of my writing from day to night, at least during the spring, summer and fall.

These days in the warm sun feel so fleeting and I want to spend every moment of them outside, planting and gardening.

I thought I'd gotten a big head start on my spring cleaning in February and March but now that spring is truly here I find myself clearing out and rearranging still.

It's quite a peaceful process.

Perhaps part of the reason I am drawn to it.

The plants require significant observation and care.

Perhaps another reason still.
