In a midst of continuing to settle into my new space and lifestyle I do my best to stay consistent with my writing. It has been on the forefront of my mind more often since I've moved out and I feel urges to write about mostly everything.
This morning I made my way on foot a few blocks from my house (10 minute walk) to a nearby Timmies. It's funny, I think if you live in Canada long enough timmies starts have a really homey essence about it. I know if I were to look back on my memories of times at Tims, I would find many. Here in Calgary I've found the Tim's to have a really nice, clean and modern aesthetic. It's nice to see them changing and upgrading and times change.
With how quickly things are changing on a day to day basis in this world, I think it's essential for businesses to be able to adapt to those changes.
I imagine it must be a difficult task, considering the changes seem more constant than ever as the virus continues to live on.
Here at the coffee shop I thought I'd have a nice opportunity to take some extra time to evaluate what I feel are the most important things I need to spend some of my time doing for the upcoming week through list form as I often do. Most of my lists are daily lists. If the list is incomplete at the end of the day (which is rarely the case) I put the items on a list for the following day so that I can complete them.
My hope in doing a broader list, for the whole week, is that I will be able to identify with which tasks I can do on each day by acknowledging the flow of energy I feel and reminding myself that one step at a time, progress is made. Some of the tasks on my list are more tedious than others. Some are just for fun.
It feels really good and clarifying to get everything out on paper and organized.
Once I've written core things down, extra things often come to mind also. I think this is because through organization and mental clarity I've created a space where those thoughts can also exist and come into fruition.
August has been jam packed and very full of life and happiness already. It's hard to anticipate what is coming but I look to the future with excitement and curiosity. My instincts tell me my future is looking more creative than ever.
As time passes I find myself moving into other tasks that are attracting my attention. It feels good to get out and get things done. It's easy to feel behind and cloudy minded when things are not organized. It's worth it to me to take the extra time to get things organized and set up in a way that works for me now so that as time progresses I can simply maintain the organization instead of having to feel caught up.
IF and when they download, Ill be adding some photos to this post.
