Yes, it's been a few weeks since my last post.

I plan to post more over the coming days.

My goal of 4 posts per month persists.

Writing always seems to take a portion of time to get back into after I've missed more time than normal.

Once the momentum comes, the process gets easier and has more flow.

The weather is changing a bit more with each day that passes.

As the sun rises, it melts the frosty coating of the sidewalks and rooftops.

I can feel the drop in temperature down my spine, through my ribcage, and down my backbone.

It's brisk.

You'd think I'd get more familiar with it with each year that passes.

Still, the coolness shocks me at my core.

One solution I've come up with over the years is my hot water bag.

Usually as soon as it dips under zero I'll start pulling it out and filling it up.

Writing this has reminded me that I'd like to get a new water heater for that and morning coffee.

We have a stove top kettle we often use, and it's quite lovely.

I used to have a nice water heater, it was fast and very efficient.

I think it'd be nice to have one on hand, I like the alternative option.

After weeks of gathering resources and finding the right people to do the job, the hot tub is running.

Being able to enjoy it with Jamie for the first time after a lot of effort was such a wonderful feeling.

The air was fierce and it contrasted the warm water so nicely.

It is looking beautiful.

Lights hang in different areas throughout the backyard space and it looks and feels extremely ambient in the light of the night.

There's a gas lantern beside the tub that shines beautifully.

It's a very peaceful atmosphere.

I've been working on a lot of things over the past few weeks, doing a fair bit of multitasking.

I've noticed multitasking is a two sided sword, and though it may be beneficial in certain times and moments, it is also so very beneficial to be able to focus on one thing at a time.

It's such a busy world.

There is so much information everywhere., Staying focused can be a challenge.

Making lists helps me with that so much.

They are a good source of reference for me.
