Before Bed

Sunday.

It being my only day off for the past 3 weeks, its been a wonderful day to have and utilize to prepare for the week ahead.


I vacuumed, did the dishes and a few loads of laundry.

I find winter clothes make the loads much more bulky., the washer always seems to fill so much faster this time of year.


I organized a few different cupboards and baskets throughout the house and took out the trash.


I ran some errands and picked up some household cleaners and a few groceries for the week ahead.

I also popped in to say hi to Penny <3

I pre-portioned my snacks and meals for the upcoming work week.


The sun sets very early these days and as it set this evening at 5 30 I felt the night all around me.

The darkness sweeps in suddenly this time of year.


I set up my yoga mat and lit some candles and had a really nice interval of stretching and winding down from the day before doing this writing.

I updated my calendar and put a relaxing YouTube playlist on to assist me in focusing on my writing.


I love the smell of the warm candles on the table around me and become more aware of them with each inhale.


It's such a peaceful environment and it's making me feel extremely relaxed.


Before bed I'd like to do an oracle draw and take a few photographs of the zen set up from the night.


Below I've shared a few photos of previous nights of zen. they are among my favorite ways to spend the winter nights.
