Creative Rush

The past few days have been filled with creative time and conversation.
I guess in one way I feel like I'm catching up for lost time.
The time away from social media has brought me back to friendship, and gratitude.
Real connections with real people I feel honored to know and to be able to take the time to get to know.
I had a wonderfully creative time throughout my years travelling in and out of Kelowna and during that time. Although it's been a while since I've touched base with some, those friendships live on. I was talking to Jessica just this morning and over the past few days, catching up through an old recovered snapchat account I opened last week that I'd forgot I'd had until I received an attempted sign in notification email on behalf of snapchat.
I updated info to prevent hacking and decided since I was there I would see what I'd missed.
It was encouraging to see that over the span of the past decade various people who have lost touch with me have tried to find me in various ways.
Jessica and I met in Kelowna when I was about 17 years old through model mayhem.
We did many projects around that time.
Although its been a few years since we've created together, the friendship and enthusiasm for creating art together as a team remains.
The past week of sun has inspired several somewhat impromptu shoots.
Touching base and reconnecting has enabled more art than I might have imagined earlier this year.
Getting out into nature and taking the time to inhale the fresh summer air and feel the ground beneath my feet., It's been a beautiful summer.
For fun, I've decided to share a few from my most recent shoot with Vic Kirby.
It has been a pleasure to create art with him over the years.
