It's waning crescent phase of the moon today.
(35%)
*The waning crescent is the phase just before the new moon, and is characterised by a thin crescent. Where the waxing crescent brings with it a wealth of new opportunities and optimism, a waning crescent brings a sense of surrender and reflection.
Oh the irony.
The wide variety of life's events I've reflected on today. It's astonishing.
To distract myself I've decided to make a quick list of some of the physical things I've accomplished today as I feel I've spent a lot of time in thought.
Physical doings/accomplishments (Today):
- Long, hot shower
- Chicken on the slowcooker
- Spent time researching and evaluating the market for used skates.
- rearrange and movement of furniture in upper living room & lower living room. Organization. Things needed rearranged since Jamie and I took the Christmas decorations down yesterday.
I moved an extra set of chairs back down to the laundry area. They'll go from that area out to the garage for storage. I moved my favorite desk up, from the lowest living room to the upper one on the top level. There was a wide open space in front of the window and I couldn't resist moving the desk into that space. It's nice and centered and it allows a beautiful and inspiring view of the front yard and street. My laptop, a candle, a coaster and my phone are what rest on it's surface. I think the whole set up looks neat!
I have fun rearranging and observing spaces. I find out more about my passion for cleaning up and cleansing each time I indulge.
The flow of life pulled me from my post and approximately 52 + hours has past since my last sit down to write.
So I thought it would be fitting to "restart".

Happy New Year!
It's always a bit mind blowing for me, reflecting on the passing year as it comes to an end.
It's been a big year.
I find myself reflecting often on the idea of sharing life's on-goings, more, in a variety of ways.
I'd really love to bring that vision to life.
I think I would find indulgence in sharing some of what brings me joy throughout the day.
For now, Here are some photos from a cozy December.
