I've spent the past year of writing here, sorting through drafts and transforming them into completed updated, finished, posted pieces.
It's amazing how many drafts have been started over the years.
I decided that instead of potentially creating more drafts, I would transform them instead.
It's less frequent for me to be writing at this later hour in the afternoon.
Determination has consumed me all throughout the day.
A big pad of paper to record and remind goes a long way for me on most days.
Today was day two of file sorting and organizing.
An interesting task of detail,
completely unseen to the outside eye... I spend a fair amount of time downloading, organizing, and sorting photos. Both my own and also those that are sent to me by others.
I like to have my photos nice and organized.
Equally, videos, GIFS, all of it.
I consider my sorting "in depth" but also necessary as it helps me reference and recall with great accuracy.
To follow the theme of yesterday I've also continued with what I might categorize as "catchup communications".
Ironically,
Just today I heard from a contact who was explaining this same phenomenon to me in her own way.
Sometimes the day does not allow as much time for responding and planning.
Some days are preplanned and hence, when they arrive, they are filled with doing.
It always nice for me to be able to spend some time delving into the details.
It's amazing for me, time and time again, to unravel and revealing the depth that can be found within them.
I want to note here for reference that I will likely be getting another stick and poke by my pal Cailee tomorrow.
It's crazy to think it's not yet been a year since that friendship has evolved.
It has been a gift to form a friendship with Cailee over the past months, and indulge in creative endeavors and conversations together.
In other fun news, my dear friend Jessica is in town and I am looking forward to seeing her over the following days.
It's such a wonderful surprise when she's in town.
I'm obsessed with the beautiful light that peers in the windows all throughout the house and into the garage as well.
Around noon the light shine through the blinds in the garage and if I'm there I can't help but soak it in.
It's warmth, even through the window, makes me very excited for spring.
