Early February

Ah, a fresh month.

It feels good to start something new at this point. Even if it's as simple as the start of a new month.

This post is a start, as well.

By the time it is completed it will be the first of four that I hope to complete by the end of the month. This goal has always been personal. It's had a prominence that has persisted throughout the months and years.

In a small retrospective:

The new year was different than others. It didn't contain the elements of celebration and excitement that others have carried and shown.

I've seen lots of hype about new years resolutions in the past. This year was different.

Instead of seeing any focus on resolutions or personal goals, I witnessed the absence of them.

It was a revealing time.

I empathize.

I can relate.

Resources have been drained completely from large groups of people deemed unworthy through noncompliance.

Talk about discrimination.

The internet has been taken over by billionaires.

This is real and it's been happening for years and years.

Life has become so much more complicated than it once may have appeared.

I do apologize if the above reflections seem morbid.

It's just a perspective.

My multitasking mind is doin its thannnnng today.

As I write this I am listening to a playlist on youtube composed of big female artists right now.

I downloaded some new songs for dancing and then took a break from laptop things to get some exercise and pick up a chair I saw and liked.

I've been back and forth, coming and going, sitting, standing, getting my phone charger, heating my coffee, responding to emails and texts, building on my daily list, reflecting on life.
