It's been a beautiful September.
One worth remembering.
The trees line the streets and parks in perfect shades of yellow and light orange.
There is a nip in the morning, and a light frost on the shingles of the garage rooftop.
Each day I have been walking, in lovely company, enjoying the scenery and the sun shining down on the leaves on the trees. Fall is such a wonderful time of year and I feel it awakening different parts of me as each season does.
I look towards the upcoming days in anticipation of plans that have been made to enjoy and appreciate nature more.
These moments have become such powerful and important moments for me.
The abundance of nature is encouraging to observe. It grows no matter what is happening near by. It grows in, it grows through, it grows around. It is amazingly adaptable and instills a hope inside me that energizes my being.
As the river flows, with my feet grounded to the rocks at its bottom, the water rushing over my feet and through and around my being, I feel connected. Connected and deeply inspired. Nature is the most amazing teacher. Showing it's strengths and beauties consistently and without fade.
The sun has risen nicely this morning and brought the temperature up a few degrees with it's rising.
I'm heading out to walk sweet Penny but before I got I thought I'd share a few photos from my last shoot with Vic Kirby. The fall colors were just starting to pop and we went with an editorial style for concept and shoot style. It's always a pleasure to shoot and appreciate nature in such a grand variety of way with Vic. As always, I was very pleasantly surprised by the photos he sent me from the day!
Here are a few!

Very nice! Love your reflections about nature! Love the photos!
