For the 10th of September I have been pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the weather.
I'm unsure as to whether we are experiencing a chinook or simply being graced by warmth but either way I am grateful. I capitalized on the warmth and sunny skies by calling on some creative beings to set up some artsy on goings.
I know how special and rare these beautiful sunny days are, especially as fall rolls in.
These are my favorite days for observing nature.
There is something very therapeutic and calming about the warm sun piercing upon the skin.
This morning has had a very nice flow to it.
I started the day with some up keep and clean up, which led me to a job I'd left unfinished in the garage.
I got the wrapped up and sorted, excess loaded into the back of the SUV to be taken away.
Motivations to write led me to one of my current favorite coffee shops. There's something special about this spot, I feel a nice flow when I write here and I enjoy that.
I spent about an hour working on a letter I am currently writing to a dear friend of mine who lives in Vancouver, Erica.
Just recently we agreed on the concept of writing each other and being "penpals" in a way.., on top of our usual phone calls and catch up.
I have been enjoying the extra opportunity to write in great depth. The pen to paper method has always been my preference and I am always amazed at how the words flow, from my wrist, through the pen, onto the paper.
I am giving myself the next 20 minutes to wrap up what I'd been working on here and move along into the next task/ongoing.
I may not finish or send the letter to Erica today but I will definitely finish and post this blog.
I am also working on uploading and organizing photos from the end of August and beginning of September.
I try to keep up to date with this, I love to take photos of everything, really, but if I don't stay up to date with the process I can definitely get backed up with my photo transferring. Usual that just means it takes me longer when I decide to dive into the process. To avoid the back up, I try to keep things organized and transferred as much as possible.
From there I plan to assess further how I will share the photos & where.., which ones I will print out, etc.
Below I've shared a segment of photos taken by Norman Grier.
His work can be found on instagram @normangrierfineart.
For creative purposes, I've decided to call this set "the white sweater mini series"
Props to Norman for capturing everything so wonderfully!

Thank you!
