October

This first week of October has been filled with Beautiful sunny afternoons and lots of opportunity to explore the wonderful fall season that Calgary has been having. I can't remember a fall as nice as this one in my past 5 years here in the city.

The leaves range from greens, to yellows, oranges, and even some lovely red tones as well. I love the tones and colors and I especially enjoy them as I travel to and from throughout the city and take Penny on walks around marda loop.

I think it's been almost a month now of fall-like weather. It has been wonderful and amazing to observe. I've taken lots of photos and I think the beauty of weather has brought me to many mindful spaces this month already, for that I am grateful.

At my house, I continue to organize and arrange the space in a way that I feel is both relaxing and reflective of myself and my character. I've enjoyed setting the space up as my own. I think its become a somewhat natural process to me over the years. I've travelled from city to city and changed houses many times over the past few years. Parts of me really seem to enjoy the moving and organizing process.

Yesterday Danielle came over and we shared a few hours. She took some photographs and I modelled and we enjoyed the fall weather and chatted about recent on-goings. I haven't seen as many of my girlfriends since covid, and not as often either. It was so nice to be able to spend that time with Danielle and catch up. She has been a dear friend to me throughout the years and I am so grateful for our friendship.

Vic and I have a concept planned for tomorrow, I will check up with him shortly to see if that plan is still in effect. At this point the weather is looking prime for that concept.

The sunflower I featured below is one I grew from seed this past season.

It provided me with a lot of joy and satisfaction through the summer and fall.
