Oh the many thoughts and ideas that pass through this brain of mine.
Just before I started this post, I was thinking about how this website has become a total treasure trove for me.
Years and years of stories, projects, art, and life, recorded here.
I spent a decent portion of time writing this morning, and then I decided to go in and start uploading and creating 2021's portfolio (in the portfolio tab), for sharing.
The page has been made and one segment from a shoot from last year has been updated. It felt good to get into that for a while. My finger mouse on the laptop is not the most efficient for website editing, but for my current set up it made the most sense to just work with what is.
I went into preview mode and examine past portfolio folders.
There's a lot of memories there.
There's a lot of memories here, in these writings, as well.
Both of which have given me a chance to remember and reflect on the many wonderfully creative and powerful people I have had the opportunity to know and create with.
Art has been such a root of happiness for me, for my whole life, as far back as I can remember. Here and now, during these profound times, I feel myself awaking to different sides of artistic and creative self and gradually gaining comfort with the self, as a whole.
In the spirit of nostalgia and memories, I have added a few photos taken by Tyler Hamende in 2019.
